Sessions are currently 100% virtual to provide more accessibility and flexibility for clients and to serve the entire state of Texas.

Unfortunately no. You must reside within the state of Texas to receive services according to Texas Board regulations.

Saturday appointments are available on a bi-weekly basis with limited spaces.

Do you only provided services for Black women?

No. We serve people from all backgrounds; however we specialize in serving the unique mental health and wellness related needs that impact women of the African Diaspora.

Do you accept insurance?

I do NOT accept insurance. My focus is to provide an optimum and individualized treatment and experience however, I understand the need to offset your medical costs. I can provide a monthly superbill for third party reimbursement. Please keep in mind the amount of reimbursement depends on your insurance provider. It is recommended that you contact your provider to learn what will be covered.

Do you have a sliding scale?

I do not offer a sliding scale but as a member of Open Path Collective, I provide a low fee slot for Open Path Collective members who are uninsured and meet certain income requirements for a limited number of sessions.

What is the consultation process?

I offer a free 15 minute virtual consultation for prospective clients to learn about specific needs and reasons for entering therapy. The consultation allows prospective clients to get to know the therapist and for both the client and therapist to determine if they are a great fit. If it is determined we are not a great fit, I am more than happy to provide a referral.

What if I am running late for a session?

Life is constantly go-go-going and we understanding things happen outside of your circle of control. Clients are allowed a 15-minute grace period before the session is automatically terminated. If a client arrives before the 15 minute mark, the session will still end on time to avoid any negative impact to other clients scheduled on the same day. If you are going to be late, please communicate with the therapist as soon as possible in case you need to reschedule. You are also able to reschedule your session in the client portal.

What is your cancellation policy?

You are responsible for canceling your scheduled session 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time to avoid a late cancellation fee. All cancellations after the 24 hours timeframe will be charged the full session rate. The therapeutic process is a relationship not only with the therapist but the individual you desire to become and missing appointments ultimately impacts the work you do.

I am ready to make the shift! What type of client are you looking to work with?

Clients should be motivated and active in the treatment goals. Clients should be able to attend scheduled sessions weekly, bi-weekly or monthly depending upon your individual treatment and goals. The therapeutic process is most effective as an integrated part of your lifestyle and to see progress.
